Surprise—Keke Palmer is pregnant! The star announced the exciting news while hosting Saturday Night Live last night (where musical guest SZA also performed). During her opening monologue, Palmer wasted no time addressing that she’s now expecting her first child with boyfriend Darius Jackson. “There’s some rumors going around, people have been in my comments saying, ‘Keke’s having a baby, Keke’s pregnant,’” said Palmer during the skit. “And I wanna set the record straight—I am!”
Given Palmer is a well-noted fashion girl on the red carpet, she had to do her pregnancy reveal in style, too. Wearing a sleek brown Max Mara coat, she unbuttoned it to reveal a cropped brown top, trousers, and her exposed baby bump underneath. (A styling move not dissimilar to Beyonce’s famous pregnancy reveal at the 2011 MTV VMAs, when she unbuttoned her D&G blazer). “This has been the biggest blessing, and I am so excited. Guys, I’m going to be a mom,” Palmer continued.

Palmer then proceeded to end the pregnancy reveal on a comedic note—this is SNL, after all. “Even though some people feel a little weird about me having a baby cause I was a child actor, I just wanna say, look, I’m 29,” she said. “I’m grown, I have sex, I own a home, I stormed the Capitol on January 6, you know? Things adults do.”
