Kelly Ripa and her hubby Mark Consuelos are turning off the haters after critics of the couple’s rebranded morning show have come out in full force.

Following Ryan Seacrest’s exit earlier this month, Consuelos stepped in as co-host alongside his wife on Live With Kelly and Mark.

“This show today truly felt like home,” the Riverdale actor told Us Weekly. “I always feel at home with Kelly, but [working] together this morning just felt so right.”

But detractors were quick to slam the “nauseating” couple, both 52, with one person predicting on the show’s official Instagram page: “This is when it gets cancelled.”

“Not Interested,” another person wrote with a third calling the pairing “a waste” and saying this new incarnation was “The beginning of the end.”

“Not interested either,” a fourth person dismissed, “all your going to hear about is themselves.”

“Haven’t watched since [former co-host] Regis [Philbin] left. Used to look forward each day to him retelling what he did the night before. He was just so funny, another viewer tweeted. “Kelly’s boring and all she does is read newspaper clippings from other states. I give this another year or bet [her] equally boring hubby will quit.”

According to a Live production insider, the couple, who met on the set of All My Children in the 1990s, find the complaints “irritating,” but they aren’t planning to change.

“Kelly’s been through this before — with every new co-host,” the production source told Page Six.

The insider adds, “Kelly and Mark are certainly not going to change the recipe for success. Kelly has been discussing her marriage and home life on air for 23 years, and Mark is also fully immersed in this art form and it is really kind of an art form.”

Ripa herself said she wasn’t worried about how Consuelos would do as a morning host.

“I had no concerns about how well he was going to do and he really proved me right … I’m so proud of him, but I was never worried.” She told Page Six, “I just told him to get out there and enjoy himself, be himself and he did.”

Consuelos admits their exchanges on the show have gone “off the rails,” but said that the pair are just trying to improve with each new episode.

“If it’s great, great. If it’s not so great, we’ll try better next time,” he told SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham. “That’s been my approach. Just kind of be in the moment … I enjoy the first 20 minutes so much. We often have five or six different things we’re gonna talk about.”

He added, “We have that telepathy that married couples after 27 years kind of do.”

Ripa told Variety earlier this year that she initially wasn’t sold on the idea of Consuelos stepping into the role full-time, but was convinced after she was reminded of their long history working in tandem.

“We’d be the last people on earth to suggest ourselves to work together for anything,” Ripa said. “They were putting the data in front of us, like, ‘Do you realize how much you’ve worked together in your careers?’ And it actually really started to make sense to us.”
