Whether it’s with close-up details of red carpet glam or just a look at a new natural hairstyle she’s trying out, she keeps her followers thoroughly entertained and inspired. She just kicked that up and notch and added some nostalgia to the mix with her latest post. On October 19, the actress posted a video to share a boxy bob haircut for her latest project, The School For Good And Evil on Netflix.
We’ll get to the haircut in one second, but the immediate The Princess Diaries reference is sending us into a nostalgic tizzy. The video opens up with Washington’s face covered by a set of printed pictures of Washington looking, well, not so glammed up. The audio from the famous The Princess Diaries makeover scene plays, “Only Paolo, can take this and this, and give you — a princess,” as the two pictures are pulled away to reveal Washington in a structured box bob haircut complete with razor-sharp bangs.
