KGF 2 box office: Yash starrer rages like a monster on its opening day | Bollywood Bubble

Yash starrer KGF 2 has started making smashing box office records as the film has hit the 50 crore mark on its opening day. Yes, you read that right. The Hindi version of the film collected Rs 53.95 crores on day 1 at the box office. Since it was a partial Holiday on the 14th, it did work as an added advantage. Having said that, KGF 2 day 1 collection has also surpassed the first day collections of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion which minted Rs 41 crores at the box office. Moreover, the film has also beaten Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer War which had collected Rs 50.75 crore 

The record-breaking streak doesn’t end here. KGF: Chapter 2 has already scored a century in all the languages. The India box office collection of KGF 2 on its opening day is ₹ 134.50 which is humungous. Well, after SS Rajamouli starrer RRR, Prasanth Need starrer KGF 2 will take the box office by storm. 

Going by the latest trends, the film has already surpassed the first day collections of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi which collected ₹ 26.29 crores, Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR which raked in ₹ 20.07 crores, on the third position we have Akshay Kumar’s Bachchhan Paandey with ₹ 13.25 crores, Ranveer Singh starrer 83 had minted ₹ 12.64 crores whereas Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi collected Rs ₹ 10.50 cores on their opening days.

Bollywood Bubble gave 3.5 stars to KGF: Chapter 2, calling it a mass entertainer. KGF 2 starring Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Sriniddhi Shetty and Raveena Tandon is directed by Prasanth Neel. The film is released on April 14, 2022.
