Khamzat Chimaev involved in cageside altercation with Islam Makhachev’s team.
According to several media outlets who were cageside following the Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev fight at UFC 280, Khamzat Chimaev got into an altercation with Makhachev’s team when they left the cage and had to be removed from the area by security.
MMAJunkie is reporting that Chimaev was involved in an altercation with Abubakar Nurmagomedov, cousin to Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Abubakar Nurmagomedov competed on the preliminary portion of UFC 280, defeating Gadzhi Omargadzhiev by decision.
Khabib Nurmagomedov was cageside for Makhachev’s title win, as well as Belal Muhammad’s win over Sean Brady that closed out the prelims.
