“Speechless and disgusted!” Kardashian tweeted to her 29.5 million followers. Her reaction came after Rittenhouse was acquitted in the deaths of Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber, and the wounding of of Gaige Grosskreutz, following a night of racial injustice protests in Wisconsin in August, 2020.
While Kardashian’s tweet garnered over 15,000 likes, many people flooded her mentions to remind the reality star that she was conspicuously quiet following the deadly Astroworld tragedy earlier this month.
While Kardashian didn’t specifically address the Rittenhouse trial, her comments struck an angry chord online.
“ There are people that died (at the) Travis Scott concert. We’re not gonna forget about them. Sorry !! …” one critic wrote in a tweet.

“ Why didn’t you say anything about Astroworld?” another questioned. “THAT is disgusting.”
One commentator used the “speechless” remark to take a swipe at Khloe’s sister Kim’s new relationship with SNL funnyman Pete Davidson. “ At Kim & Pete?” they wrote, “Me too sister. ”
Just days after Travis Scott’s poorly-planned festival in Houston, which killed at least 10 people and injured hundreds, Page Six reported that the Good American founder came under fire for posting racy snaps to her Instagram .
“Completely tone deaf,” one person commented, while another added, “ People just died while your family watched … maybe take a break for a week .”
“ Read the room,” a third Instagram user noted. “The first Astroworld victim was buried yesterday.”

Kardashian’s sister Kylie Jenner shares a three-year-old daughter with Scott and is pregnant with their second child. After the deadly concert, Khloe’s mom Kris Jenner and her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner addressed the tragedy — but the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was quiet on social media.
Dozens of lawsuits have been filed against the rapper as well as guest performer Drake.
Following the tragic incident, the Sicko Mode star issued a statement in which he told his followers he was “devastated” by the events that unfolded at NRG Park.
“I’m honestly just devastated and I could never imagine anything like this happening,” Scott said. “I could just never understand the severity of the situation.”
Kylie also spoke out in a message posted to her Instagram Story. “Travis and I are broken and devastated. My thoughts and prayers are with all who lost their lives, were injured or affected in anyway by yesterday’s events. And also for Travis who I know cares deeply for his fans and the Houston community,” she wrote.
