Following the success of the first installment Khuda Haafiz, a sequel named Khuda Haafiz Chapter II Agni Pariksha was announced in September 2020, with Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak as producers and Faruk Kabir as director. Unlike the first one, this movie took the theatrical route & has failed to recover its budget so far.
Khuda Haafiz: Chapter 2, made on a budget of almost ₹27 crores, has not recovered even half of its total production cost. This has forced the makers of the film to pin all their hopes on the film’s OTT debut & TV premiere. Vidyut Jammwal excels as an alienated husband. This film allows him to explore an emotional viewpoint, something he excels at. He has a strong screen presence. Shivaleeka was perfect for her small part. The cinematography and background score are also excellent. The first half travels at a breakneck rate; the second half slows slightly. Overall, the video is worth your time, and everyone involved deserves to be recognised.
