Archie Comics is the leading mass market comic book publisher in the world and the home to a wide array of the most popular humour, action-adventure and superhero characters in entertainment, including Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica, Reggie, Kevin Keller, Josie and the Pussycats, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and many more. Based on the characters from Archie Comics, Netflix launched international series Riverdale, Riverdale gives a subversive take on small-town life and now Comic book characters Archie Andrews and his friends will  be seen in an Indian film version on Netflix and Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, along with the rest of the cast including actors Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina are going to Kickstart their Bollywood careers with Archies.

Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming live-action Archies movie The Archies, which will be available on Netflix, has finished filming. Archie, Betty, Dilton, Ether, Jughead, Reggie, and Veronica are at the centre of the movie, which is an adaption of the Archie comics. “The movie exudes all of the young vitality, optimism, and enthusiasm associated with the swinging 1960s. A press statement from the streaming service described the movie as “a musical experience brimming with youth, rebellion, friendships, first loves, and everything young adult.” The young star cast came together to party in Mumbai at the film’s wrap-up bash on December 20.

Two Archies beauties have already made sartorial resolutions. We are referring to Khushi Kapoor and Suhana Khan, respectively. Khushi showed up at The Archies wrap party in Mumbai wearing a stylish black dress from House of CB. Khushi’s minidress is a gathered, draped, and delicate design for an incredibly feminine appearance. It is one shoulder styled and has a flattering asymmetrical hem. We adored the high wrap neck with its sophisticated tie collar and strappy open back that falls nicely down to the waist. Khushi completed her ensemble with a pair of black strap sandals. She carried a black purse and sported delicate earrings. Her makeup featured pink lips, eyeliner, mascara, and sculpted cheekbones. She tied her hair up in an unkempt bun.

Suhana, on the other hand, was dressed in a stunning crimson dress. Her bodycon dress had a strappy silhouette that emphasised her hourglass form. She paired it with black flats and hoops. Glossy lips and cheek blush were the only makeup she wore. Suhana left a few strands of her sloppy bun of hair exposed.

The Archies, directed by Zoya, is co-written by Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre. The forthcoming movie is a musical drama set in the 1960s. The film is expected to release on Netflix next year.
