Kiara Advani is one of the most loved actresses in Bollywood. She is currently enjoying the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and also busy promoting her next film ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’. The actress is leaving no stone unturned to promote her upcoming film with co-stars Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
Kiara is currently in the best phase of her life. Given that her last two films Shershaah and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 did extremely well, many are comparing her with Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt.
In a recent interview, Kiara shared her thoughts on being compared to Deepika and Alia. The actress told India Today, “It is amazing because they are amazing as actresses. I think I might be doing something right (to be put in the same league) and it is highly motivating. It is more motivating because I do admire them. I love their work, and it pushes me to do better and take on solo projects. It is very motivating.”
The actress further mentioned that while the comparisons motivate her, it has also set an expectation for the audience which makes her rethink before finalising a script. Kiara shared that she doesn’t take any pressure. The actress was quoted saying, “When I look at a script, I rethink how the character should add to the story. All of this plays a big role in that. Apart from that, I don’t take pressure on. In a contrastive way, sometimes, I do look at the expectations differently.”
Talking about JugJugg Jeeyo, it is slated to release on June 24. JugJugg Jeeyo is helmed by Raj Mehta. Apart from this, Kiara has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actress is working on RC 15 which is being directed by Shankar. Kiara will be sharing screen space with Ram Charan in the same. Apart from that, Kiara also has Govinda Naam Mera with Vicky Kaushal and Bhumi Pednekar. The comedy-thriller film is expected to release this year.
