After Kid Rock demanded a boycott in a fiery social media post, some eagle-eyed customers of his Tennessee bar are discovering the rocker might just be another hot air artist.

After shooting up cans of Bud Light to protest the company’s partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney, Rock has reportedly smoothed things over with the beer brand.

Since Rock’s video went viral, Bud Light has lost its No. 1 spot as America’s best-selling beer. The New York Post reported that sales of the product were down 28% heading into the holiday weekend.

“The Fourth of July is the biggest beer holiday in terms of retail sales and an opportunity to move a lot of volume,” Dave Williams, vice president of the consultancy said. “And there has been no notable signs where the course has changed for Bud Light.”

But despite claims he was dropping the drink from the menu at his Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse, Newsweek published photos that showed the beer being sold from June 9 and June 12 during the Country Music Association Festival (CMA Fest).

“I mentioned it to the waitress. She said they actually stopped selling it for a week right after [Kid Rock’s video], then started selling it again,” the patron at Rock’s bar told Newsweek.

“No one talked about it, and I didn’t hear anyone giving the Bud Light drinkers any grief at all. Actually, no one really seemed to care about it,” they added.

On Twitter, one visitor posted a photo of the menu for Rock’s bar showing Bud Light still available.

“Kid Rock — nice that you shot up the Bud Light … but it’s still in your bar. Haha,” they wrote.

Social media users weren’t surprised as news of Rock’s flip-flop started to make the rounds.

“It’s all an act. Anything for a buck,” one person wrote, with another adding, “He made his point and now he has to give his customers what they want. He’s a capitalist, can’t blame him for that.”

I was in Nashville last week and visited Kid Rock’s bar. I saw people drinking Bud Light beer at the bar,” a third person alleged. “What was all this stuff that he would not sell Bud Light in his establishment.”

One visitor documented their experience ordering Bud Light at Rock’s establishment.

“Tempted to ask for a Bud Light at the Kid Rock bar,” they wrote before following up their post with a photo of a man with a bottle in front of him. “KENNY DID IT!!”

The Sun has reached out to Rock for comment.

In April, America’s self-proclaimed “bad ass” posted a video to Twitter that showed him using a rifle to blast several 12-packs of Bud LIght in an apparent shot at their partnership with Mulvaney.

“Grandpa’s feeling a little frisky today,” Rock, 52, began his 35-second clip that has been viewed nearly 53 million times.

Sporting a MAGA hat, the All Summer Long singer stroked his goatee and continued, “Let me say something to all of you and be as clear and concise as possible.” As the shot widened, Rock picked up the weapon and opened fire at four cases of Bud Light.

“F— Bud Light, and f— Anheuser-Busch,” the rocker snapped, giving the middle finger to the camera, before telling viewers to “have a terrific day.”

Rock didn’t mention Mulvaney, but transgender activists called his viral video “violent and threatening.”

Mulvaney, who documented her transition from male to female on TikTok thanks to her Day 365 of Girlhood video series, received several cases of Bud Light with the trans activist’s face printed on the side of the cans to celebrate her “womanhood.”

On Instagram, Mulvaney called the cans her “possibly the best gift ever.”

America’s best-known transgender celebrity Caitlyn Jenner called on Rock’s followers to switch over to Happy Dad hard seltzer. “Bud Light went too far this time!” she wrote.

But not everyone in Nashville sided with Rock. Country star Garth Brooks said he would continue selling Bud Light at his restaurant, saying, “inclusiveness is always going to be me.”

“I think diversity is the answer to the problems that are here and the answer to the problems that are coming. So I love diversity. All inclusive, so all are welcome. I understand that might not be other people’s opinions, but that’s OK, man.”
