Couples in love often start to mirror one another, whether by finishing each other’s sentences, or adopting similar mannerisms. If you’re Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson? Well, you take it one step further, by using matching dye jobs to communicate your loved-up status.
In a series of Instagram Stories posted on Kim’s profile, the pair debuted matching icy platinum hairstyles. Kim went blonde at the beginning of May, and now the comedian has followed suit, with a near-white shade of blonde—even brighter and lighter than his significant other’s.
As the pair touched down in London on Monday and ventured out for a low-key dinner together, their matching hair hues and all-black ensembles were reminiscent of a time way back in the ’90s, when then-couple Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Pitt were twinning in the hair department.
Paltrow and Pitt were a golden couple of that time—and Paltrow has since joked about their “matching haircuts.” According to Paltrow, whose shorter style was cut by hairstylist Chris McMillan, she and Brad were unintentionally in sync. Unlike Kim and Pete, whose matching hair moment is far from accidental.
