If you recall this past summer, stars like Megan Fox, Lizzo, and Kardashian were all wearing pink nonstop, and labels such as Valentino made the bubblegum hue one of their recurring motifs. (You’ll also remember those viral photos of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling filming Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie, which gave the trend its name). To continue the peppy vibe into autumn, Kardashian wore Balenciaga’s pink, bowed gown, pairing it with the label’s mini top-handle bag and satiny, pointy boots. Monochromatic dressing is one of Kardashian’s signatures, of course, but in an all-over Pepto Bismol pink, her look was a clear nod to the enduring Barbie aesthetic. All she needed was a matching Ken.
