Just when you thought Barbiecore was fading away in favour of balletcore and cozy fall trends, Kim Kardashian goes full Balenciaga barbie.
On November 12, Kim attended the 2022 Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood wearing head-to-toe Balenciaga. The reality TV star paired an asymmetrical baby pink gown featuring a dramatic train and multiple bow-tie details with a matching Balenciaga tiny purse and a pair of hot pink boots. Her platinum hair, which only adds to the Barbie aesthetic, was pulled back with a single face-framing tendril kept loose. She topped off the look with a set of french tip press-on nails by Kim Truong that could cut glass.
Baby2Baby is a non-profit organisation that provides diapers and necessities to children living in poverty in the Los Angeles area. During the ceremony, Kim was honoured with the charity’s annual Giving Tree Award. “Tonight we are so proud to honour @kimkardashian with the Giving Tree Award for her dedication to Baby2Baby,” the charity wrote on Instagram. “We are so grateful for her decade-long support spotlighting our mission to provide children living in poverty with the basic essentials they need and deserve.”
However, Kim Kardashian was not the only member of her family who attended the star-studded event. Throughout the evening, Kim posed with her sister Kylie Jenner, who dressed in a custom sheer black dress by Loewe with an open back and thigh-high slit.
