It’s official: Kim Nam Joo will be starring in the upcoming drama “Wonderful World” (literal title)!
On May 30, Kim Nam Joo was confirmed as the female lead in the new drama, which will be helmed by “Tracer” director Lee Seung Young—and which ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo is currently in talks for.
“Wonderful World” is an emotional thriller about a woman who seeks revenge after the tragic loss of her son. When the culprit manages to evade punishment through the legal system, she decides to pursue justice on her own.
Kim Nam Joo will be playing Eun Soo Hyun, a successful and famous psychology professor and writer who falls into hopeless despair after losing her young son. But when she crosses paths with people who have gone through the same pain as she has, she begins to heal her wounds through the process of solving mysteries together with them.
Meanwhile, Im Se Mi’s agency noon company officially announced, “Im Se Mi is currently in talks to appear in ‘Wonderful World,’ and the outlook is favorable.”
Notably, Cha Eun Woo—who was revealed to be in talks to play the drama’s male lead last week—previously starred alongside Im Se Mi in the hit drama “True Beauty.”
