Salman Khan’s much-awaited film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, is all set to make its world digital premiere on ZEE5 Global on June 23, 2023. Directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films, this action comedy is a remake of the popular 2014 Tamil film Veeram. The story revolves around the eldest brother in a joint family who resists getting married, fearing it may create ripples in the family dynamics. However, his younger brothers decide to find the perfect match for him, leading to a series of hilarious situations.
The movie features a star-studded cast, including Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Bhumika Chawla, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam, Shehnaaz Gill, Tanikella Bharani, Jagapathi Babu, and a surprise cameo by Ram Charan. Filming for Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan began in May 2022 and was completed in February 2023, with shooting locations in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Ladakh.
The film’s music is a collaborative effort by renowned composers such as Ravi Basrur, Himesh Reshammiya, Devi Sri Prasad, Sajid Khan, Sukhbir, Payal Dev, and Amaal Mallik. ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ hit theaters on April 21, 2023, coinciding with the festive occasion of Eid.
According to Farhad Samji, mainstream films have the capacity to transmit important messages for societal improvement. “I strongly believe that commercial films can effectively tell meaningful stories while entertaining audiences,” the director said in an interview with a news source. He added, “The challenge is to find the proper combination of amusement and substance. Commercial films are among the most demanding genres, but I firmly believe they have the power to entertain and inspire.”
Samji also added, “I’m aware of the challenge of maintaining novelty while catering to a wide audience. It all boils down to telling a captivating tale and presenting it in a way that people can relate to.”
