Kissin’ cousins! MAFS couple discover they’re RELATED

One of this year’s fan favourite Married At First Sight couples have found out they are related in a bizarre and shocking twist.

Perth contestant Ollie Skelton and his TV wife Tahnee Cook are one of the social experiment’s strongest couples, they have a lot in common including their love for Thai food, but it appears they’re more alike than they first thought.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, the newlyweds are distant relatives.

The couple found out at their wedding reception when guests from each side recognised each other.

“Tahnee’s sister’s husband is Ollie’s second cousin,” an insider revealed.

“Although they’re not blood-related or anything like that, technically they are distant relatives in a weird way. A lot of the cast would joke about it.”

The revolution hasn’t made its way onto the TV screen yet, with sources claiming it might never be brought up on the Channel Nine show.

“They laughed about this a few times during filming, but it probably won’t be aired as Channel Nine won’t want people spinning it into an incest-style headline scandal.”

Skelton is just one of four WA contestants taking part in this year’s controversial season of MAFS.

The voiceover artists joins influencers Bonte Scholfield and Jannelle Han, as well as singer Lyndall Grace as the West Aussies on this year’s show.
