The animal shelter posted hilarious messages about a cat named after actor Pedro Pascal, tweeting photos of the kitty in various movie scenes from The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, a recent film with Pascal and Nicholas Cage, and from TV’s The Mandalorian.

The cat was named Pedro Pspspscal by the shelter staff.

On March 20 they posted, “Pedro Pspspscal is daddy and we all love this famous boi ❤️ Here’s some of his most famous scenes with costars Bella Ramsey, Grogu, and Nicolas Cage ???????? #adoptdontshop #pedropascal.”

Others retweeted the goofy post until it had been seen more than eight million times.

Not surprisingly, the kitty quickly found a home.

The KHS posted earlier this week that Pedro Pspspscal had been adopted, and gave a shout-out to Newsweek Magazine for their coverage of the Twitter campaign.

The shelter wants people to know that it still has 15 cats and 91 dogs looking for forever homes.

People Magazine reported on March 23 that thus far there has been no word from actor Pascal himself as to whether he ever saw the creative cat campaign.
