KKR are eighth in the ten-team points table with four wins and six loses. They won their last match against Sunrisers Risers Hyderabad (SRH) by five runs. Punjab, on the other hand, are seventh with five wins and as many defeats. Mumbai defeated them by six wickets in the last match.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the second time in the IPL 2023, let’s have a look at four players who can take most wickets in the match.
Varun Chakravarthy: The leg-spinner is the leading wicket-taker for his side with 14 scalps in 10 matches at an average of 21.50 and an economy rate of 7.99. In the first match against the opposition earlier this season, Chakravarthy picked one wicket for 26 runs in four overs.
In the last match against SRH, the 31-year-old conceded just 20 runs for one wicket. Overall, Chakravarthy has played six matches against PBKS and picked five wickets at an average of 29.80 and an economy rate of 6.20.
Sunil Narine: The West Indies star is not having the best of IPL seasons but he be raring to stamp his authority and send a statement to the cricket fraternity. The 10 matches so far has seen him pick just seven wickets at an average of 42.57 and an economy rate of 8.76.
He leaked 40 runs for the wicket of Sikandar Raza in the last match against PBKS. Overall, he has played 23 matches against them and picked 33 wickets at an average of 19.03 and an economy of 7.05.
Arshdeep Singh: The Punjab Kings pacer has been in sublime form for his team, picking 16 wickets at an average of 22.56 and an economy rate of 9.80. He was at his brutal best in the previous outing against KKR.
He gave away 19 runs for three wickets and picked the wickets of Mandeep Singh, Anukul Roy and Venkatesh Iyer. Overall, he has played seven matches against KKR and picked eight wickets at an average of 22.12 and an economy rate of 8.56.
Sam Curran: The England star would be hoping to turn up the heat with his bowling at the Eden Gardens. So far, he has picked seven wickets in 10 matches at an average of 49.28 and an economy rate of 9.90.
Earlier this season, the left-arm pacer picked one wicket for 38 runs in three overs against KKR. Overall, he has played six matches against them and picked four wickets at an average of 60 and an economy rate of 10.90.
