Jurgen Klopp has opened up about Erling Haaland’s pending move to Premier League title rivals Manchester City.
The Borussia Dortmund ace is set to join Pep Guardiola’s side this summer after the Etihad outfit triggered his £51m release clause. The signing is bound to significantly strengthen City – but Klopp doesn’t seem fussed.
It comes as the Reds are set to miss out on Haaland’s Dortmund teammate Jude Bellingham after the England midfielder opened up on his plans for next season. And Jurgen Klopp’s previous rant at FA Cup final referee Craig Pawson has been revisited.

Klopp on Haaland move
Jurgen Klopp is determined to stay focused on his own team despite Manchester City’s signing of superstar forward Erling Haaland.
The Norway international is set to rock up at the Etihad this summer after agreeing to join Pep Guardiola’s side for a bargain £51million. He had been linked with clubs from across Europe, including Liverpool, but Klopp is not disappointed at missing out on the forward.
Recalling his own time at Dortmund, the Reds boss said he was just glad City weren’t strengthening themselves by signing one of Liverpool’s stars.

Bellingham blow
Liverpool target Jude Bellingham has insisted he will be at Dortmund next season.
The England international has been linked with a big-money summer move, although his club Borussia Dortmund are said to be reluctant to part ways with the player in the same transfer window as Erling Haaland. The Reds had hoped to add to their midfield ranks this summer as Jurgen Klopp seeks to add fresh options in the middle of the park.
But Bellingham almost definitely won’t be arriving after he insisted the “only future” he is thinking about is with Dortmund.

Klopp’s referee rant
Liverpool face a bad omen in Saturday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea, with referee Craig Pawson set to take charge of the game.
The Reds travel to Wembley with their hopes of finishing the season with a historic quadruple still alive, although they trail Manchester City in the Premier League title race. But to win the FA Cup on Saturday they will have to deal with a referee who previously left Klopp fuming.
Following Liverpool’s first loss of the season in a 3-2 defeat to West Ham in November, Klopp took aim at Pawson, claiming he made a number of poor decisions – and they left the Reds manager seething.
