Klum cops backlash over video kissing daughter in lingerie

Supermodel Heidi Klum has come under fire after posing with her daughter in lingerie for what some are calling a “weird” photoshoot.

The 49-year-old playfully kissed and danced around with her daughter Leni Klum, 18, in a video for a campaign with Intimissimi — an Italian lingerie company.

Klum captioned her post: “Thanks for making us feel confident all day singing and dancing in our @intimissimiofficial”.

However, the Instagram posts have received backlash, with some accusing the former Victoria’s Secret model of exploiting her young daughter for her good looks.

“Another day, another model or celeb wheels out her daughter to show her off,” Sun columnist Ulrika Jonsson wrote.

“It feels uncomfortably like some kind of advertising. Grandstanding, exhibiting and plugging their daughters for all to see.”

“But could there also be an underlying whiff of mums, such as Heidi showing off their daughters in an attempt, at the same time, of letting the world see how young and youthful they still look in comparison?”

Klum isn’t the only celebrity that has posed with her daughter in recent times, Yolanda Hadid, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow have all flaunted their children on social media.

However, social media users also flocked to the comments to praise the mother for the close relationship she has with her daughter.

“Love this and the special bond you two have!” one user wrote.

“Two of the most beautiful women in the world ❤️,” another wrote.

This isn’t the first time one of Leni’s Instagram posts has made headlines this year, with a photo of the young model sunbathing sparking concern in July.
