Producer and interior designer Gauri Khan first made an appearance on Koffee With Karan with Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan and his then-wife Sussane Khan. Since then, she hadn’t appeared on the show until the last night’s episode. It’s been 17 years and a lot has changed. Gauri Khan came on the show with her friends and stars of Fabulous Lives Of Bollywood Wives Maheep Kapoor and Bhavana Pandey. During the episode, she made a call to Shah Rukh Khan to win points in the segment where celebs make a call to other celebs.

During the segment, every celebrity has to call another celebrity and ask them to say “Hey Karan, it’s me” and inform Karan what they are doing. Considering Shah Rukh Khan is a bonafide superstar, Karan said that if SRK’s picks Gauri’s call, she wins six points. SRK did pick up the call and said, “Hi Karan, how are you?” To which, Karan responded, “Very happy to speak to you. You just earned your wife six points.” In the smooth SRK way, the actor responded, “Ji Gauri, humare saath rahoge toh aise hi points milenge (If you stay with me, you’ll keep winning points like this).” Gauri Khan was seen smiling after his response.
On the work front, Gauri Khan is currently hosting a new show called Dream Homes. In this six-episode series, Gauri will give extravagant transformation to the houses of Manish Malhotra, Farah Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kabir Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Malaika Arora. Dream Homes will not only bring the latest home décor trends and hacks but will also reveal the behind the scene madness of revamping the spaces for some of Bollywood’s most successful.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is set to return to the big screen in a full-fledged role in 2023 with YRF’s Pathaan starring alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. He is also starring in Atlee Kumar’s Jawan with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu and Sanya Malhotra.
