Kourtney Kardashian reacts to backlash over ‘nasty’ bathroom snap

If you think Kourtney Kardashian eating food in her bathroom is gross, she isn’t interested in hearing your complaints.

The Poosh founder caused a stir on Instagram this week when she shared a slideshow of pics, one of which showed her bathroom filled with plates of food surrounding a white bathtub, including pancakes, strawberries, chicken wings, dessert, bottles of champagne, and a half-eaten burger sitting on top of the toilet.

Followers immediately flooded the comments section of her post, calling the display “disgusting.”

“Food in the bathroom is not the move,” one critic swiped, while another added, “Food on the bathroom floor gives me anxiety.”

“Food on the toilet … that’s nasty,” a third person agreed, with a fourth follower declaring, “That bathroom scene is what nightmares are made of.”

One fan asked, “How can you eat off a plate that’s been sitting on the toilet?” as another wondered, “Am I the only person who thinks food on the bathroom floor is disgusting?”

Kardashian took to her Instagram story to respond to her critics by sharing the bathtub image alongside a row of swirly-eye emojis, writing, “the comments about this photo.”

Several commentators also defended the reality star, saying they were unbothered by the concept of eating in the bathroom.

“People are commenting about food in the bathroom but you take your phone in the bathroom and then have it at the table taking pics of your food…same difference. Let Kourt live!” one fan argued.

“Who cares! It’s her home/her space!” another defender weighed in.

According to Page Six, Kardashian later told fans that the snap came from a photo shoot she and her husband Travis Barker did for Daring, a plant-based chicken company.
