Kourtney Kardashian’s wedding veil has us in awe, so we’ve found 11 floor-sweeping designs to replicate her look

Frantically searching for wedding veils having seen Kourtney Kardashian’s lace cathedral veil over the weekend? Us too. As she and Travis Barker said “I do” (for the third time) in Portofino, Italy, the reality star sported another short wedding dress – a custom Dolce & Gabbana nonetheless – and a magnificently long headpiece that had us in utter awe.

The satin and lace corset mini dress was a work of art itself, inspired by 1960s Italian lingerie and a one-of-a-kind Alta Moda design, but it was the bride’s veil that garnered the most attention. Hand-embroidered with flowers inspired by Portofino’s many Mediterranean gardens, the veil was complete with text that read ‘family, loyalty, respect’ and featured a depiction of the Virgin Mary at the centre.

“The embroidery, done with the ‘cross stitch’ technique, recalls her husband Travis’ tattoo and is a symbol of alliance, respect and common devotion,” said Dolce & Gabbana in a post on Instagram.

While Kourtney’s exact headpiece is a bespoke one, there are designs on the market that are just as dramatic – including wedding veils that you can have personalised, too.

This cathedral-length one-layer lace wedding veil from Etsy features similar floral embroidery to Mrs Barker’s and would complement an array of bridal gowns, from square-neck wedding dresses to high-street wedding dresses, and wedding hairstyles.

There’s also this French lace silhouette that extends over the face, lending a traditional finish similar to the one adopted by the Kardashian sister.
