On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Kunal Kemmu announced that he is all set to make his directorial debut. Kunal will be directing ‘Madgaon Express’ and it will be produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s production banner Excel Entertainment. As soon as he shared the good news, Ishaan Khatter, Amruta Khanvilkar and others congratulated him.
Talking about his directorial debut, Kunal wrote, “Ganpati Bappa Moriya! As all good things begin with his name I can’t think of a better day to share this with all of you. It started with a thought in my head, which grew into a dream which flowed out through my fingers into words on my laptop, and now it is becoming a reality on its way to the silver screen.”
The actor added, “A big Thank You to @ritesh_sid @faroutakhtar and @roo_cha at @excelmovies for believing in my script and my vision and partnering with me on this exciting journey in the world of cinema. With folded hands and a bowed head I seek all of your blessings and the blessings of Ganpati Bappa. Introducing “Madgaon Express” #MadgaonExpress.”
Reacting to the post, Ishaan Khatter wrote, “All the best brotherman, love and only love.” Patralekhaa commented, “Wohoooooo.” Varun Dhawan dropped clapping hands emojis. Amruta Arora commented, “Congratulations.”
Kunal has come a long way in his career. He made his debut as a child actor in the TV series Gul Gulshan Gulfaam and made his film debut with Sir. The actor played the male lead in the film Kalyug and later went on to appear in films like Go Goa Gone, Bloody Money, Golmaal and more.
