Travis Scott will perform at the O2 Arena in London on Saturday night, marking his first performance since the tragedy at his Astroworld Festival last November.
Ahead of his performance, Kylie Jenner and Stormi have been in London to support the Houston rapper, who will perform two sold-out shows at London’s O2 Arena Saturday and Sunday night.
A source told TMZ that Travis is “excited to deliver for his fans in London by being back, thriving on stage.”
Scott’s Aug. 6 date at the venue (which has a sellable capacity of just under 16,000) initially sold out in less than two hours. This demand spurred the announcement of a second performance on Aug. 7, tickets for which also sold out quickly.
In a statement, a Scott spokesperson pointed to the pair of O2 shows are merely the “latest signs” that fans are awaiting his full-blown return to live performances.
“Travis’s packed weekend performances and [the] fact that his O2 show in London sold out within two hours are just the latest signs that fan demand is sky-high for the return of one of the world’s favorite artists,” the spokesperson said.
When announcing the first O2 show on Instagram in June, Scott told fans it was “time to take it to [a] bigger speaker” after spending an extended period of time in the studio. Utopia, Scott’s follow-up to his 2018 blockbuster Astroworld, is widely expected to be arriving later this year.
