Kyrie Irving claims to have another sneaker deal in the works.
The All-Star point guard teased an upcoming announcement when speaking Wednesday on Instagram Live.
“I’m really excited,” Irving said, via TMZ. “I will be signing my new shoe deal very, very soon. I’m ’bout to blow this stuff out the water. I’m so excited about it.”

Irving signed with Nike as a rookie in 2011, and he eventually received his own shoe line. However, Nike severed ties with him last year after Irving shared a link to an antisemitic movie and book on social media.
“Kyrie stepped over the line, it’s kind of that simple,” Nike co-founder Phil Knight told CNBC in November. “He just made some statements we can’t abide by, and that’s why we ended the relationship.”
Irving offered no hints on his next partner, but TMZ previously reported that he spoke to SIA Collective after the Nike split.
The 31-year-old addressed another big decision he’ll make when chastizing outsiders for speculating on his upcoming free agency. Irving said he’s in “no rush” to pick a team after ending the 2022-23 season with the Dallas Mavericks, who missed the play-in tournament.
