A Calabasas Christmas! The Kardashian-Jenner family is known for going all out during the holidays — and this Christmas was no different.
“The woman who does it all,” Khloé Kardashian gushed over party planner Mindy Weiss in a Saturday, December 24, Instagram Story video, showing off the family’s red-themed Christmas Eve bash. “I mean, you guys. Are we OK?”
The Good American designer, 38, showed off the party’s elaborate decor, which included lots of sweet treats, a ball pit and a miniature See’s Candy shop. “You guys, I’m like the first one here because I was so excited,” she exclaimed in her social media footage.
The Revenge Body alum, who brought 4-year-old daughter True, was soon joined by sisters Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, and their respective children. Kim’s eldest daughter, North West, even had the opportunity to sing with musician Sia during the party.
“We love you @sia,” Khloé wrote via her Stories, sharing a video of the 47-year-old “Chandelier” singer belting out her hits alongside the 9-year-old.
Before Christmas Day, the famous family spent time giving back at Alexandria House, a Los Angeles-based organization that provides safe housing for women and children in need. The reality stars offered makeovers and family portraits to the families at the house, along with lavish gifts from Skims, Good American, Kylie Skin and more, per TMZ.
Earlier this year, the Kardashians stars gathered for a family-style Thanksgiving. Momager Kris Jenner showed off a scrumptious spread of appetizers and desserts via her Instagram Story in November as her kids and grandkids joined together for the special day.
“Just popping in to say I’m grateful,” Kendall Jenner captioned an Instagram Story snap while sitting down for dinner.
Typically, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alums throw a star-studded bash on Christmas Eve. Kris shed light on the sentimental tradition during a June 2019 episode of the E! series as she passed the hosting baton to her daughters.
“I want you guys to be able to do this until you’re my age and one of your kids takes over. That’s the joy,” the In the Kitchen With Kris author told Kim. “It’s just the thought of actually not doing at my house. … I’m getting emotional. It makes me sad. It does. It makes me so sad. It’s just that magic that you can make, and make everybody feel so amazing on one night a year. It’s that love.”
She added: “It’s not just a party. It’s changing of the guards.”
The SKKN by Kim creator reflected on the annual bash during a confessional interview. “Our Christmas Eve party was always this fun party that I just remember being friends and family and my grandparents and cousins. It was just the best night ever,” she said. “But my mom’s been doing it for so long that it’s turned into something different. It’s kind of a party just for my mom and mostly her friends. We want it to be a place that we can just have fun and it’s all of our friends and definitely family and my mom’s friends, too. But a good mix of both so we can have a good time and really just enjoy each other.”
While the big brood always looked forward to the celebration, their plans were put on hold amid the coronavirus pandemic. Khloé told her social media followers in December 2020 that it was the first time in 40 years that the party wouldn’t take place.
Two years later, the Hulu personalities are back in party action. Kylie gave a glimpse of how she and her siblings celebrated the successes of their various brands during a work party documented via her Instagram Story on December 13.
