Even for those with TSA Precheck and Clear, airport lines seem like they’re getting longer. For passengers who haven’t signed up for a security clearance, it’s even worse. To help ease the congestion, a growing number of airports allow general screening passengers to reserve spots in the security lines to help cut down wait times. The Reserve system (which is powered by Clear) is akin to theme park fast passes, except that scheduling a security screening appointment is free and doesn’t require any membership programs. Reserve is now available at 19 U.S. airports and several in Europe—with more (as they say at airports) arriving soon.
