The stars were out to watch Lionel Messi’s debut with Inter Miami on Friday night. The Argentinian superstar didn’t disappoint, scoring a game-winning goal from 25 yards out in stoppage time.
Lakers forward LeBron James was one of several notable figures at DRV PNK Stadium to watch Messi lead Inter Miami to victory.
Following the match, James rushed to Twitter to share his thoughts on Messi’s magical free kick. Although the four-time MVP usually has a lot to say on social media, he needed just one word to describe what he witnessed.

As for Messi, he had a pretty humble response when asked about his late-game heroics.
“I knew it was the last chance,” Messi said. “I just tried like I always do and fortunately the goalkeeper couldn’t get the ball. It is important for this team to get wins because we are not in a good position in the league. I know this is another tournament but it will help our morale.”
Inter Miami will be back in action Tuesday night against Atlanta United.
