The NBA season is over, so players have a lot of free time to do pretty much whatever they want over the next few months.

LeBron James took some of his free time to watch one of the most famous comedies of the 80s in Teen Wolf.

The four-time NBA champion had some thoughts on the movie, and he let the world know about them on social media. In the process, he may have spoiled a nearly forty-year-old movie.

LeBron mentions the movie’s climactic scene, where Scott Howard (played by Michael J. Fox) returns to his high school’s basketball team. Previously, he would play with the team as a werewolf, earning him a great deal of popularity.

He decides to play the final game as himself, winning the championship with a pair of free throws. It’s a pretty simple metaphor for being yourself and staying true to what you believe in, like most movies from the time.

In typical LeBron fashion, he offered a breakdown of the actual basketball in the movie, asking how Scott could win the game with free throws while standing under the rim.

It’s a pretty valid question, but one that also shows just how dedicated to the game LeBron is.
