With no basketball to play for a little while, LeBron James has been glued to the NFL and college football these past few weeks. But he fell short of earning the mantra of “NFL analyst” with his prediction for yesterday’s game.

Taking to X on Thursday before the Bears-Commanders game, LeBron predicted that Washington would beat Chicago. He called himself a “football junkie” and hoped for a great game.

“Will do my NFL picks for this Sunday on IG live before they begin Sunday but for tonight TNF game I’m going with Wash over Chi. Nevertheless hope it’s a great game. (football) junkie,” LeBron wrote.

Wrong on the first count at least.

The Bears not only won but dominated the Commanders in a game that was pretty much over before halftime. Chicago took a 27-3 halftime lead and went on to win 40-20.

“Never taking betting advice from this man again,” one user declared after the game.

“Brother please stop losing these people money,” another begged.

“Jordan definitely had the Bears,” a third pointed out.

Suffice it to say, LeBron James isn’t exactly someone you should be going to for sports handicapping advice. Not until he hones his craft a little bit more at least.
