Amid all the retirement rumors surrounding him, LeBron James channeled his inner Jay-Z on Monday: “What More Can I Say?”

Quoting Track 3 from Hov’s original retirement album, the King reposted a pic from a fan account to his IG story saying, “I’m suppose to be #1 on everybody list. We’ll see what happen when I no longer exist.”

LeBron’s post definitely caught the attention of NBA Twitter who had a wide range of responses.

“Oh brother,” a user laughed.

“And people are still asking why we don’t like LeBron ….” another replied.

“GOAT [crown emoji],” a fan commented.

“This guy just begs for attention,” tweeted Gambler’s Dream. “Enjoy the sidelines, LeBron. Maybe you should be on the basketball court working on your game. Nice final shot to lose the series – couldn’t even get a shot attempt. Sad.”

“LeBron I love you but you’re turning me off,” another fan admitted.

“A bunch of haters commented. Sad that jealousy and envy always rears its ugly head.”

At this point, LeBron James’ legacy seems cemented as one of the best to ever do it. But where exactly he ranks remains up for debate in the eyes of many.
