It’s safe to say LeBron James and Steven Adams had different views on living in the bubble during the 2019-20 NBA season.
James thought it was extremely challenging being in the bubble for an extended period of time, especially since he didn’t get to see his family during that time.
“If you were not in a bubble, you don’t quite understand it,” James said. “This literally out of your comfort zone. I didn’t see my family for eight and a half weeks. I’m literally in a bubble at times in my room literally seeing the walls like this like ‘The Shining’ just like blood coming down my walls.”
Adams, on the other hand, didn’t think living in the bubble was that hard.
“Let’s be clear, mate. This is not Syria, mate,” Adams told reporters. “We’re living in a bloody resort.”

After hearing that response from Adams, we’d have to imagine that nothing fazes him.
Hopefully, the NBA never has to adopt a bubble format ever again.
