For many basketball fans, Michael Jordan is considered the greatest basketball player ever.
Jordan finished his career with six championships after leading the Chicago Bulls to two three-peats, something LeBron James and other NBA legends have been unable to accomplish.
Nearly two decades since his retirement, his value remains high in the basketball world. That explains the high auction taking place over his Jordan-worn and signed 1992 Olympic ‘Dream Team’ Air Jordan sneakers.
According to on3.com, the coveted shoes has a $75,000 current bid, the highest at the moment.
“However, the estimated value of the sneakers is anywhere from $100,000 to $300,000. It isn’t the first time Jordan collectibles have sold for a small fortune.”
During his 17 years in the league, Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.3 assists on 49.7 percent shooting from the field and 32.7 percent from long distance.
