Over the years, Carol Alt has posed for SI Swimsuit seven times, including the magazine’s cover in 1982, after traveling to Kenya with photographer John G. Zimmerman.
On July 27, the 62-year-old model and actress reminded her Instagram followers of her legendary status with a throwback photo from Miami Swim Week. Alt walked the runway with fellow brand icons Samantha Hoopes, Roshumba Williams, Vendela Kirsebom and Elsa Benitez.
Alt wore a pink-and-white paisley swimsuit by Melissa Odabash with a matching cover-up slung casually over her shoulders. The snapshot was captured by Ezequiel DelaRosa at the W South Beach.
“Pretty in Pink????,” one of Alt’s 141,000 IG followers wrote in the comments.
“????????????,” Swim Search finalist Sharina Gutierrez applauded with emojis.
“Wow you haven’t changed a bit still a super model ????????????????,” Odabash observed.
During the runway show on July 7, Alt walked the catwalk in a white button-up one-piece swimsuit and sheer sarong, as well as a blue bikini and coordinated cover-up dress. Check out both showstopping looks here.
Alt last graced the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2014, when she participated in a legends feature for the brand’s 50th anniversary.
