While it started with slightly more than ₹15 crores on day one, the figures dropped to less than half on day two and have been declining since then. The “star power” couldn’t entice the crowd, resulting in another Bollywood box office flop.

Puri Jagannadh’s highly awaited film, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday, was released globally to rave reviews.  The former plays the titular MMA fighter boxer in Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s sports action flick. Vijay’s first pan-India release is bilingual in Telugu and Hindi. Ananya, a Bollywood actress, is collaborating with a director and actors from the South Indian film industry for the first time. Liger also has important performances by Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, and Makarand Deshpande.
