Lila Moss proudly displays her insulin monitor in her latest campaign

Lila Moss has proudly displayed her insulin monitor in a glittering new joint campaign for Versace and Fendi.

The model, who happens to be Kate Moss’s daughter, modelled a miniature handbag with her blood glucose monitoring device visible on her upper arm.

Lila Moss has Type 1 diabetes, a condition which means the pancreas doesn’t produce enough insulin to help sugars enter the bloodstream. It can lead to a high concentration of sugar in the blood, which causes serious health problems. To manage their blood sugar, people with Type 1 diabetes can use a continuous blood glucose monitor, which monitors their blood sugar without the need for finger-prick blood tests.

The campaign has already had a profound effect on her fans. After Lila posted a photo of the Versace and Fendi collaboration to her Instagram, her comments soon lit up with praise. One person wrote, “My 8 year old daughter has #typeonediabetic???? Thanks for sharing ????,” while another commented, “Example of #T1D, woman, beautiful, successful, BRAVO ????????????,” and another added, “???????? #diabetesawareness matters ????”

It’s not the first time Lila has openly displaced her insulin monitor. For the Met Gala 2022, which she attended with her mother, Lila wore a sheer, Burberry dress, which clearly showed her insulin pump on her upper thigh and the monitor on her upper arm.
