Lily Collins just debuted a ‘French Step Cut’ – and thus triggers the trending hairstyle for 2023

The best part of this cut is that it can be styled however you want – and hairstylists say it looks great when worn in ponytail and chignon hairstyles.

Due to its multitude of possibilities, the “French Step Cut” will look great on everyone who likes to alternate their hairstyles (so pretty much everyone then). The blunt-cut layers in the style serve to flatter all face shapes, as the strands can be adjusted in height to the shape of the face. Oooh la la!

We’ve been keeping up with Lily’s style in Emily in Paris season three, and we’re already looking forward to the fourth season of Netflix’s hit fantasy series. (One can never have too many episodes in the queue.)

While we still have several questions lingering following the finale of season two, and will have even more, I’m sure, with the conclusion of season three, there is one guarantee for season four: Whatever Emily Cooper is doing, she will be doing it in style.

Back in January of 2022, following the premiere of the show’s second season, Emily in Paris was renewed for season three and four at the same time.

Though Netflix shows — even those that have been relatively well-received — are known for getting abruptly cancelled after just one or two seasons, you can rest easy in knowing that a fourth season is guaranteed to be forthcoming. Bring it on.
