The Lohanissance is here and we truly couldn’t be more thrilled to see Lindsay Lohan back in the spotlight. The star is busy promoting her new Netflix holiday movie, Falling for Christmas, and in true Lohan fashion, she’s turning out look after look on red carpets and TV appearances alike. We’ve got the long red hair, the glam ensembles styled by Law Roach and now, the sweetest manicure that pays homage to her newlywed status.
On November 11, we ooh’ed and ahh’ed over Lohan’s sheer floral Valentino dress and sleek ponytail, but there was a hidden detail in her look that made it all the more special. As noted by Cat Quinn, a beauty and pop culture enthusiast, Lohan’s matching manicure was a subtle shoutout to her husband, Bader Shammas, and their love story.
The manicure in question was created by Elle Gerstein, who has worked with Lohan on several occasions. For the premiere, she painted the actor’s nails with a Mia Secret gel shade and added the “B” and “L” initials on Lohan’s left hand ring finger as a tribute to their marriage. The gold letters are joined by a teeny, tiny gold dot and enhanced by an enormous Stephanie Gottleib heart-shaped yellow diamond. This love letter of a manicure is the kind of “blink and you’ll miss it” Easter egg we love about red carpet beauty and the most heartwarming finishing touch to Lohan’s big comeback look.
