Lindsey Vonn is just like Us! The Olympic gold medalist, 38, is focused on making her entrepreneurial dreams come true — but she’s not willing to sacrifice sleep in the process.
“After eight hours of sleep, I wake up ready to start my day,” Vonn exclusively tells Us Weekly about the importance of getting her beauty rest — something that’s only possible with QUVIVIQ, a prescription medicine for adults who have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep. “After years of trouble sleeping, I’m so happy I found a medication that works for me.”
Now that she’s woken up refreshed, the skiing champion is all about prioritizing her pups, Lucy, Jade and Leo, who are “begging” her for their morning walk the minute she opens her eyes.
After making sure the dogs get their exercise, it’s her turn to hit the gym. “The best part of working out with Tempo is I can do a full body circuit right in my living room,” the Minnesota native gushes about her at-home equipment.
Next, it’s all about growing her business. “Having my own skiwear line is exciting and rewarding,” Vonn shares. “Carving out time for my Legacy line is definitely a highlight of my day.”
Vonn is the picture-perfect designer for chic winter gear. The professional athlete was not only a former World Cup alpine ski racer on the U.S. Ski Team, but she won four World Cup champions in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012. At the 2010 Olympics, she took home the gold for downhill skiing — and was the first American woman to do so.
While she may no longer be competing on the slopes, she’s still putting her experience to good use with her Legacy line — a dream that took years to bring to life.
“From initial sketches to final products my line took over a year to perfect to ensure every feature, fabric and stitch has both fashion and function,” she wrote via Instagram in October 2021. “That combination is everything I’ve ever wanted on the mountain! … Hope you guys love it as much as I do ❤️????????#HEADsportswear.”
