Geelong great Gary Ablett Junior is a father for a second time after wife Jordan gave birth to a little girl.

Jordan took to Instagram Thursday to announce the exciting news with a heartwarming post.

Grace Honour Ablett was born on Wednesday.

“We are overjoyed to share with you all that our precious little boy, Levi, has become a big brother to his very own little sister; Grace,” her post read.

“Thank you god for sending this little angel – our beautiful daughter – into our family.”

The post was accompanied by a sweet photo of Cats and Gold Coast Suns champion Gary doting over the newborn.

The Scud’s wife, Silvana, was also among well-wishers, saying little Grace was a “blessing”.

“Welcome beautiful little Grace. You are such a blessing,” she said.

“Congratulations beautiful Jordan. We are so happy for you and your lovely family.”

Former AFL star Ablett – a 357-game veteran who won two premierships and two Brownlow medals, shared the same post, with a wave of congratulations soon flooding in.

Earlier this year he and wife Jordan shared a video of their son Levi smiling as he ticked off a neat milestone in a lovely family scene.

Levi, who suffers from a rare degenerative illness, was pictured lying down before receiving some help from his father to get to his feet.
