The live-action adaptation of Shiho Watanabe’s Kissing the Ring Finger manga is now streaming on Rakuten Viki in India, as spotted by ANN.
Kissing the Ring Finger is a romantic comedy show that explores the themes of love, marriage, and career. It is a heart-warming story about two people who find love in unexpected places. The live-action adaptation of the manga aired in Japan from April to June this year.
The story of the show is about Togo Nitta, the CEO of a floundering bridal shop, who decides to stage his own high-profile wedding to save his company. He enters a marriage of convenience with Ayaka Haneda, a young woman eager to support her family but cursed with her own beauty and undesired attraction from all her male co-workers.
Ayaka Haneda is played by Kanna Hashimoto in the series, and Ryosuke Yamada plays Togo Nitta. The Japanese boy band Hey! Say! JUMP has performed the theme song for the show, titled Dear My Lover.
