Aston Villa and West Ham have been put on red alert with Liverpool ready to sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain this summer.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, 28, has one year left on his current deal at Anfield and Liverpool will listen to offers for the England international. Villa boss Steven Gerrard is a long term admirer for the versatile midfielder who has 35 caps for England and still has a long career in front of him.
Gerrard wants to strengthen his squad this summer while West Ham are also in a similar situation with David Moyes looking to add quality and depth. West Ham have clinched a place back in Europe again and may have money to spend with Liverpool likely to ask in excess of £10m for the former Arsenal midfielder.

Oxlade-Chamberlain remains hugely popular at Liverpool with Jurgen Klopp praising his attitude in recent weeks despite not giving him minutes during the Premier League run-in. He had the opportunity to move in January with Newcastle very keen to sign him either on loan or as a permanent deal when Eddie Howe was keen to strengthen his squad.
But nothing was agreed at the time and that opportunity appears to have gone but now with the contract running down, Liverpool are keen to cash in rather than let the deal expire and the player go for free next year in 2023. Oxlade-Chamberlain went to Liverpool in August 2017, choosing Anfield ahead of Chelsea as he made a £35m move from Arsenal.
He has enjoyed good success at Liverpool but injuries have hampered him along the way but he has been fully fit this season and is just anxious to play regularly again. This summer could be a big opportunity for Oxlade-Chamberlain with interest from the Premier League and also from abroad.
