“The problem is that he didn’t play much last season, so I don’t know if the top clubs in the Premier League will spend big money on Chiesa without knowing his physical situation. Last year he had a lot of problems.
“Liverpool wanted him two years ago. They spoke to his father about him, but he preferred to stay in Italy. It’s different now. He would accept a Premier League club.”
Chiesa started his career at boyhood club Fiorentina, making over 150 appearances before making the move to Juve, initially on loan, in 2020. He has made 94 appearances for the Old Lady since arriving, scoring 22 goals and registering 20 assists.
Chiesa has four goals for his country and was aiming to add to his 40 caps in the Nations League semi-final against Spain on Thursday.
