Klopp slammed

Jurgen Klopp has “found a way to get his way” following the introduction of five substitutes in the Premier League, according to Andros Townsend.

The Everton winger says Klopp has been “constantly banging on and banging on” about the implementation of the rule, which will be introduced for the 2022/23 Premier League season. Messi’s Mane transfer ‘failure’

Lionel Messi failed in his attempts to try and persuade Sadio Mane to swap Liverpool for Barcelona last summer, according to the Bayern Munich forward’s agent.

Mane’s advisor Bacary Cisse says PSG ‘attacked’ his client over a potential move, and that before he secured his own move to the French capital Messi told Barcelona he wanted them to sign the Senegal international. Messi is known to be a big admirer of Mane’s and reportedly told Barca that he wanted them to sign Mane “and an Argentinian central defender” in order to remain at the club.

But instead, the Senegal international opted to spend the year at Liverpool, where he won the League Cup and FA Cup while finishing second in the Premier League and Champions League as well.

And while he might have wanted one of those numbers in Germany, it appears Bayern only had a limited amount of numbers available.
