Lizzo Had A Message For Her Haters During Her 2022 VMAs Speech, “I’m Winning!”

0

Lizzo just won a VMA for the INCREDIBLE video for her hit song “About Damn Time.”

While the singer was obviously elated about her much deserved win, she did take a few moments to address some of the negative press she’s been receiving lately.

“To the bitches that got a lot to say about me in the press… ‘Lizzo, why don’t you clap back?’ Because I’m winning, hoe!”

It seemed like Lizzo was channeling her inner Nicki Minaj as the queen of rap also famously took time in her VMA speech to call out her “hater,” Miley Cyrus.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer called Nicki “not very polite” after Nicki vented about her “Anaconda” music video not being nominated for a VMA in 2015. Nicki claimed it was because she wasn’t “a woman with a slim body.”

And while Lizzo is (unfortunately) no stranger to people talking badly about her, she may have decided to break her silence after comedian Aries Spears went viral for mocking her weight over the weekend.

Aries Spears says that he can’t get passed the fact that Lizzo looks like the ????emoji when asked about her music.

Listen, haters can keep hating because, in the wise words of Queen Lizzo, “BIG BITCHES KEEP WINNING!!!”
