Lizzo just confirmed she’s in a relationship with a ‘mystery man’ and we need answers

Nobody panic, but Lizzo is officially off the market. The singer confirmed the happy news that she’s in a relationship, during an appearance on Andy Cohen Live on Monday (18 April). 

It comes after she was spotted stepping out to dinner with a mystery man on Valentine’s Day earlier this year. During her interview with Andy Cohen, he asked, “You were photographed in LA in February at Craig’s with a mystery man. Are you guys still together?”

Lizzo promptly burst out laughing before replying, “Yeah, whatever, yeah.” Coy, but still very cute. 

Andy then asked, “You’re Lizzo, huge superstar, and this person is – whoever that person is – is that hard in the relationship?”

Lizzo responded, “If you have the right person then no. Not at all, it’s not even a factor. It should be mutually supportive no matter what that person does.” Andy then pressed her for more details about the “mystery man,” asking whether he came down to support her for her Saturday Night Live hosting gig last weekend. 

She replied, “Damn, you’re really good at this sh*t. You get the scoop, don’t you?” before confirming that her BF was indeed in attendance. In case you needed a reminder of how smoking Lizzo looked during her SNL performance, may we present: 

Earlier in March 2022, Lizzo opened up about how she shuts down body shamers in an interview with People, saying, “I think I have a really hot body! I’m a body icon, and I’m embracing that more and more every day.”

She continued, “It may not be one person’s ideal body type just like, say, Kim Kardashian might not be someone’s ideal, but she’s a body icon and has created a modern-day beauty standard.

“And what I’m doing is stepping into my confidence and my power to create my own beauty standard. And one day that will just be the standard.”

What. A. Woman.
