For last year’s Met Gala, Lizzo walked the red carpet having completely outdone the event’s “gilded glamour theme.” She wore a floor-length black jacket with gold, floral details. Swain created sleek finger waves at the top of her hair, which flowed into voluminous, undefined curls that cascaded down her shoulders. In 2019, the singer and flautist wore a monochromatic pink look, complete with hot pink eye-shadow and rhinestone-encrusted S-waves.
