This is not your … grandmother’s grandmother. Heck, this isn’t even your grandmother’s granddaughter.

Andrea Sunshine is a divorced gran of two who spends a lot of time at her London gym – and it shows, with her killer abs, cut arms and muscular legs — along with tattoos and long blonde hair.
But it’s not all about pumping iron. The fitness coach also sticks to a strict healthy diet filled with lots of vegetables and protein.
A lot.
Sunshine said her caloric count reaches up to 3,500 calories a day, spread out over six to eight meals – and she eats up to 150 eggs every month.

She did admit to a fan on Instagram that she only eats the yolk of one egg a day. The rest of the time, it’s only the whites.
“People call me a beast,” she told Jam Press. “It doesn’t bother me to be called a fitness grandma – I am in my best shape and infinitely healthy.”
Other foods she opts for include broccoli, green beans, corn, cauliflower, yam, cabbage, and spinach. She also drinks up to four litres of water daily.
Sunshine stays away from carrots and pumpkin, because of the sugars, but does eat sweet potatoes. She also avoids salt and oil.
But it’s at the gym, which she calls her “Disneyland,” where she really puts in the work.

Most days she’s there for at least three hours, though there are times she stays at the gym and gets up to eight hours of exercise in. Her routine consists of an hour of cardio before she moves on to weight training.
Her gym may be the place where dreams come true, but not for her admirers – many of whom are under 25, but, for the most part, between 30 and 35 – that she ends up rejecting.
“Young men have a crush on good-looking mature ladies so I get hit on all the time,” Sunshine said. “I don’t like the attention. When I am in my session, I hate to be disturbed.”

Sunshine is an inspiration to women of all ages, and continues to compete against others half her age in competitions.
“There is a stigma that with advancing age of women, they should only dedicate themselves to taking care of the home and family,” Sunshine explained. “It’s possible to do both.”
