Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert punched his teammate Kyle Anderson in the chest during the team’s regular-season finale on Sunday.
After throwing the punch, the 7-foot-1 Frenchman retreated backwards.
During their coverage of tonight’s Play-In game action, NBA analyst Charles Barkley poked fun at Gobert.
“You can’t hit somebody and run backwards,” Chuck said after mocking Gobert with some fake punches thrown at Kenny Smith.

The Timberwolves suspended Gobert for tonight’s Play-In game matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers. The team will also be without power forward Jaden McDaniels, who broke his hand punching a wall after Minnesota’s 113-108 victory over the Pelicans.
Without Gobert, the Timberwolves will tipoff against the Lakers at 10 p.m. ET.
Winner of this game will take the No. 7 seed in this year’s playoffs. The loser will face off against the winner of the Thunder-Pelicans for the final spot in the Western Conference.
